We met through design, but connected through vision.
Since 2015, our Belgrade – based NEW KUNST AND SAGO studio has been a space where art meets function – first through creative projects for clients, and later through the creation of our own product: UOKO silk scarves.
In every illustration, symbol, and color, we tell stories that exist both around us and within us.
We believe in the power of symbolism, the ability of colors to illuminate the inner world, and in design that has a soul.
We work with intention: hand-drawn illustrations, carefully selected colors based on seasonal color analysis, an ethical approach, and sustainable materials are all part of our creation.
For us, a scarf is not a trend – it is a moment of presence.
Something that endures, worn close to the body and even closer to the heart.

Every collection begins with a conversation: what do we want to express?
Then comes the sketch, the symbol, the color, the silk square – and the story is woven.
On any given workday, you might find us surrounded by papers, pigments, test samples, with coffee in hand and a silence broken only by a good idea.
From personalized scarves to limited collections, we work in small series with great care.
For us, design is not a job – it is a space where the spirit becomes visible.
We are Sanja and Gorana – SA and GO – artists, illustrators, designers, and friends who always knew they would create together.
One of us dreams, the other devises the system. One draws with the soul, the other sees the essence in silence. Together, we form a small but powerful studio, driven by the idea that art can be worn, touched, and lived.
