A Contemporary Interpretation of Legacy
At the heart of the composition rises the Tree of Life, one of the most recognizable motifs of the Pirot kilim. Its branches connect what has been with what is yet to come, reminding us that every generation grows from the roots of another.
The Tree of Life unites what is visible with what is remembered.
Its branches reach toward the light while its roots descend deep into the earth, holding both the beginning and the continuation at once. Within this dual movement lies the essence of continuity – the understanding that nothing exists in isolation, but always as part of something carried forward.
As a symbol, the Tree of Life speaks of continuity: the bond between generations, the strength that grows from our origins, and a life that is constantly renewed.
Above it unfold geometric ornaments, like quiet guardians of values that travel through generations.
At the center of the composition rests the sofra – the traditional family table, a place where family gathers, conversations unfold, and life is shared. It is more than an object; it is a symbol of a home built through presence, care, and togetherness. The sofra becomes a metaphor for life’s truest legacy – a home of the heart and spirit.
The plum blossom and its fruit carry a special symbolism. The blossom speaks of resilience that endures through change, while the fruit represents everything that matures through time, patience, and the roots from which it grows.
Warm shades of plum and earth evoke a sense of belonging and continuity. Golden accents introduce light, reminding us that the true value of a legacy lies not in what we possess, but in what we pass on.
Here, heritage is not a memory of the past.

All illustrations on UOKO scarves are hand-drawn and then double-sided printed on the finest silk with hand – rolled edges.
Each symbol is thoughtfully designed, and the metaphorical illustrations tell stories within us and around us, drawn from the experiences of everyday life.
For women’s scarves, we use the highest – quality Mulberry silk, 16 or 18 momme, renowned for its softness and luxurious sheen.
This scarf is crafted from silk satin, known for its dense satin weave with a higher thread count. It is highly glossy, smooth, and reflective, while the reverse side is matte. To the touch, it is luxuriously soft. It drapes gracefully over the body, creating a fluid and glamorous effect. The advantage of satin silk is its luxurious feel, elegant appearance, softer and more sensual texture, and the possibility to wear either the shiny or matte side.
All our scarves come with a silk printing certification, ensuring the print is skin-safe and compliant with ISO standards.
The colour palette of this scarf has been thoughtfully developed according to the principles of seasonal colour analysis for women whose colour profile belongs to the Autumn and Spring seasons. Warm shades of wine, plum, golden beige, and soft apricot create a sophisticated composition that radiates elegance, warmth, and timeless charm. On satin silk, the lighter tones acquire a subtle golden sheen, enhancing the richness and depth of the palette.

Care and Maintenance for 100% Mulberry Silk (16/18 Momme), Long-Fiber Fabric, Highest Grade 6A
Recommended: Dry cleaning.
Hand washing (if needed):
Wash in lukewarm water using a mild detergent designed for silk.
Do not rub or wring aggressively.
Drying:
Lay flat to dry.
Ironing:
Iron on the reverse side at a low temperature (up to 110°C).
Avoid contact with perfumes, cosmetics, and jewelry, as they may damage the fibers.
We currently use Post Express services. Delivery within Serbia is free, while shipping costs for the Ex-YU region and the rest of Europe range from 1500 RSD to 2400 RSD, depending on the location and package weight (number of scarves ordered).
Returns and Exchanges
We want your purchase of a UOKO scarf to be a completely satisfying experience. If for any reason the scarf does not meet your expectations, you may return or exchange it within 14 days from the date of delivery.
The returned product must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging, so we can ensure the same quality during exchange or refund that you expect from UOKO products.

Delivery within Serbia is free.
